I like Richardson's idea to have students take pictures on field trips and bring them back to share via Flickr. Pictures, along with a short written report can really make the field trip more memorable and educational.
I agree with Kim, it would be useful to have students take pictures during field trips and make their own reports on flickr instead of just writing a typical one to two page report about their favorite exhibit at the museum. I also think it is great that students don't have to leave the room to take a field trip, we can find interesting places on Flickr!
