"Synching up with the ikid," by Josh McHugh reflection

Maybe one day...my school may have a computer lab.
Maybe one day...my school will not have to have classes in the library, baring any other classes from using it.
Maybe one day...my school will have at least 50 computers.
Maybe one day...my school will supply computers for every student in the school to use.
Maybe one day...flitters will function for the better of the teachers and the students.
Maybe one day...there will be a classroom where the students are engaged and motivated by the lesson because of the technology and worldly applications being used in the lesson.

Tell me why every teacher does not write articles like these, which explain the downfalls of our education system. Tell me how to make a difference, instead of writing an article that explains everything that a classroom teacher already knows.

I think many teachers feel the same way you do. Perhaps the lack of funding for technology is a reflection of the low opinion of its usefulness in a school setting. As more and more teachers are educated in how to use technology and how it can enhance learning, it is more likely that schools will take notice of the need for each student to have access to it.
